Description

The started out as a commission for a chess board, but when it was almost finished we decided to add legs. The board was created with walnut and sycamore. The skirt utilized wenge  curly domestic maple. Several other exotic woods were used as color accents, and small amounts of polished brass also accented the design. My client already had chess pieces, so the dimensions were decided to accommodate the existing pieces.
