The beauty of wood with all its varieties has always captured me.
Some magic occurs when finished wood carving or an inlaid mosaic gets oil or varnish for the first time. The beauty of the grain magically comes alive. The craft of inlaying wood brings a special relationship between the different woods. Many of my projects involve inlaid mosaics and carving, as you can see in the gallery. I welcome suggestions for new projects, so feel free to contact me.
Why the bike riding theme? If there is anything that I enjoy as much as working with wood it is exploring the backroads on the seat of my bicycle, and many of my best projects have come to me while zipping along a country road.
