Description

This is carved from very  old curly maple. The tree was harvested probably about 1880 for violin making. After many years of making instruments from this stock I decided that it is too dense for violins or violas, but is beautiful for other projects. This piece is about 4″ tall and about 3″ x 3″ at the top.
